My second home-made album!
I ran into an author in a book store selling books about WW2. I only spoke with him briefly and decided to buy a book about a pilot who was captured in WW2. I forgot the name of that book and author, but will update this when I find his name. That book had a lot of references to The Great Escape. So then I read The Great Escape and was blown away at what an awesome story it is. I thought it was great song-writing material. I'd pretty much only done goofy songs before, so I thought it would be a great challenge to write some serious songs that tell a serious story. Did I pull it off? I think so. But, you can be the judge of that.
I like this album. But, it was still a learning experience. I think it has some great moments, but also some dull moments. But, overall it's still one that I am proud of and I'm glad I made it.
